About
This website is a private, non-commercial endeavor aimed at analyzing and comparing dynamic electricity tariffs in Germany.
The chart below illustrates an interesting trend in electricity pricing dynamics. While historically, daily price spreads tended to correlate with mean prices, 2024 marks a significant shift. For the first time, we observe a decoupling where the daily price spreads remain high (around 111 €/MWh) despite a decrease in mean prices (to 78.51 €/MWh). This trend suggests increasing market volatility and potentially greater opportunities for cost savings through dynamic tariffs.
